Dr. Omar Al-Khataibeh has been an attorney and arbitrator since 1991. He obtained his Ph.D. in Public Law in 2010. He is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the QMI Arbitration Center and the founder of the Al-Khataibeh Center for Arbitration, Law, and Training.
He serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of Environmental Law Professors in the Middle East and North Africa and is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association for Investor Protection in Jordan, where he also founded the associated arbitration center.
Dr. Al-Khataibeh is an adjunct lecturer at several universities and has adjudicated over 50 arbitration cases as a sole arbitrator, panel member, or chair in construction contracts, commercial agreements, and oil and gas contracts.
He has authored four books in English on Arab investment, renewable energy, public finance, and international arbitration, published by Lambert and distributed through Amazon. Additionally, he has published over twenty research papers in peer-reviewed journals across various legal fields and has organized and participated in over one hundred conferences at universities around the world.
